A baker, Temple George, has been discovered lifeless in his residence within the Opolo space of Yenagao, the Bayelsa state capital.
The deceased was reportedly strangled to demise by an unknown assailant and his lifeless physique was found by his landlord on April 7, 2021.
An announcement by the state police command stated the Commissioner of Police, Mike Okoli, had ordered a discreet investigation into the circumstances that led to the demise of the favored baker.
“Preliminary investigation reveals that the physique of the deceased was found by his oandlord on 17 April, 2021, at his residence at Opolo, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
“The scene was visited by police detectives, and the corpse was taken to the Federal Medical Centre Mortuary for post-mortem.”
In the meantime, the case has been transferred to the State Legal Investigation Division for correct investigation.
