The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has mourned the passing of legendary musician, Prof. Victor Uwaifo.

DAILY POST had reported that the music legend died after a quick sickness.

Reacting, the Governor in an announcement on Sunday expressed shock and unhappiness over the information of Uwaifo’s demise.

In accordance with him, ”his dying was a loss to Edo State, Nigeria and the black race.”

He additionally described the deceased as a proficient and an illustrious son of Edo State who wowed the world together with his array of abilities, notably his music expertise.

The governor prayed that God will grant the Uwaifo household, associates, associates and effectively wishers the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

“I obtained the information of the lack of legendary musician and artwork instructor, Prof. Victor Uwaifo, with shock and unhappiness.
