Gunmen abduct mother of Jigawa APC senatorial candidate
Gunmen have abduçted the mom of the All Progressive Congress (APC) senatorial candidate for Jigawa Central senatorial district, Honourable Tijjani Ibrahim Gaya.
Hajia Jaja, a septuagenarian, was kidnapped from her home in Kiyawa Native Authorities Space of Jigawa State on Monday night time, June 20.
Spokesperson of Jigawa State Police Command, DSP Lawal Shisu, who confirmed the incident, mentioned the suspected kidnappers stormed the household home of the senatorial candidate and whisked the sufferer to unknown vacation spot.
Based on the PPRO, after receiving the report of the kidnapping, the state commissioner of police mobilised a particular police workforce for the rescue of the sufferer.
He famous that to make sure the fast arrest of the suspects and rescue of the sufferer the police are collaborating with different safety companies and the general public for helpful info.
A supply from Kiyawa advised the newsmen that the gunmen numbering about 15 to twenty stormed the city in three automobiles.
