Femi Fani-Kayode, former Aviation Minister, has condemned the assassination of Ahmed Gulak, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan.
Fani-Kayode maintained that Gulak was killed by expert professionals who trailed and focused him.
He described them as cowards.
In a tweet, Fani-Kayode wrote: “I condemn the assassination of my previous buddy & former Particular Assistant to @GEJonathan, Ahmed Gulak, in Owerri this morning.
“The cowards trailed him, focused him, recognized him and killed him. This was the handiwork of expert professionals. Might the soul of Ahmed relaxation in peace.”
Gulak was killed on his strategy to Sam Mbakwe Airport Owerri in Imo State on Sunday.
Following his loss of life, the Indigenous Folks of Biafra (IPOB) was linked to the assassination, an allegation they’ve since denied.
The Imo State Police Command mentioned that armed bandits had been answerable for Gulak’s loss of life
