Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State has expressed shock and disappointment over the dying of Air Commodore Ibrahim Kefas (retired), a former Navy Administrator of the state.

“I obtained with disappointment the information of the demise of the ex-MILAD, Air Commodore Ibrahim Kefas (retired). He was a nice gentleman who proved his mettle as an astute administrator throughout his tour of obligation in our state as Navy Administrator,” the assertion quoted Ayade.

The governor added that by the previous Navy Administrator’s transition, “dying has robbed Cross of an expensive buddy, a statesman and a companion within the socio-economic and infrastructural growth of our state.

“Whereas we be part of his household, the individuals of Wukari, the federal government and other people of Taraba state and the Nigerian army to mourn his passing, we’re consoled that he left behind legacies that might preserve his reminiscence alive.

“For within the phrases of Ann Lnn, “when somebody you’re keen on turns into a reminiscence, the reminiscence turns into a treasure.’”

Ayade prayed to God to grant the household the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
He assured the household that his ideas and prayers are with them as they grieve.
