Gospel singer Muyiwa Olarewaju awarded Officer of the Order of the British Empire

Gospel singer Muyiwa Olarewaju has acquired the Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) Award.

The award-winning singer was introduced the Officer of the Order of the British Empire medal by Prince William at an investiture ceremony held at Windsor Citadel on January 12 2022.

The BBC One expertise present choose and radio host was awarded an OBE within the Queen’s Birthday Honours Listing 2020 for his providers to music.

Taking to Instagram to have a good time his Award, he shared footage from the occasion captioning the slideshow, he wrote:

A vibrant performer, Muyiwa Olarenwaju is thought to tv audiences as a star of Songs of Reward’s Gospel Choir of the 12 months. He has been vastly instrumental in popularising the gospel music style globally by mixing conventional gospel music with parts from Africa, the Caribbean and Asia, with soul, R&B and pop.
