Four passengers killed, others injured in accident on Third Mainland Bridge

4 feminine passengers of a business bus have died in a deadly accident that occured on the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos.

Different passengers of the automobile sustained various levels of harm within the crash which occurred within the early hours of Sunday, Could 1. 

The Lagos State Sector of the Federal Highway Security Corps confirmed the incident in a press release signed by the Route Commander, Olabisi Shonusi.

“The crash occured on Sunday 1st Could, 2022 at about 0550hrs when a Toyota Hiace with registration quantity FST 241 YC gray coming from Adekunle inter-change inward Iyana-oworo had a tyre burst on high pace and capsized with 20 occupants (9 Male, 11 feminine).

“5 of the occupants sustained accidents, whereas 3 feminine adults had been confirmed useless on the spot. The extra one feminine died on the Hospital when the FRSC workforce went for follow-up at Basic Hospital, Marina.”

“All first responders on the scene comprising FRSC, the Nigeria Police, LASTMA and LASEMA Rescue Unit rescued the injured victims, and the corpses had been taken to Basic Hospital Marina,” the assertion added.
