Former Olympics chief, Jacques Rogge is dead




Former Worldwide Olympic Committee (IOC) president, Jacques Rogge has handed away.

The founding father of Youth Olympics died on the age of 79, the IOC introduced on Sunday.

Particulars weren’t made public in respect of the household’s demand that their privateness be revered.

Rogge led the IOC from 2001 to 2013 after main the Belgian Olympic Committee.

The surgeon is survived by his spouse Anne, a son, a daughter and two grandchildren.

The deceased was an Olympic sailor at three video games in 1968, 1972 and 1976.
