Flood sweeps away junior secondary school student in Ondo

A Junior Secondary College pupil of Mount Carmel Women College, Ikare Akoko, the headquarters of the Ikare Akoko Native Authorities Space of Ondo State, recognized as Motunrayo John, was reportedly swept away by a flood following a heavy downpour in the neighborhood.
The incident occurred on Tuesday June 21, in Semusemu space of the city. A supply informed Punch that the woman was “taking part in with erosion and she or he put her legs contained in the water when she mistakenly slipped into the water and was carried away”.
The supply added;
“The one factor discovered whereas trying to find her is her mathematical set.”
Divisional Police Officer in Ikare Akoko, Mr. Olatujoye Akinwande, who confirmed the incident stated the college principal, Mrs. Ajoke Asiwaju, reported the matter on the police station. He stated the search and rescue operation had commenced.
