The Federal Polytechnic, Ede Alumni Affiliation (FPEA) has suspended its Nationwide President, Bashir Shittu over allegations of economic misappropriation and abuse of energy.

The suspension was contained in a letter signed by Buhari T. Abiodun, the affiliation’s Nationwide Basic Secretary.

Within the letter obtained by DAILY POST on Sunday, the group disclosed that the suspended nationwide president, Shittu had violated some sections of FPEA Structure.

Within the letter, the sum of ten million, thirty thousand, 9 hundred and sixty one Naira and ninety Kobo (N10,030,961:90) was expended by the president with out making any recourse to the Nationwide Govt Council for approval.

In his response, the embattled President, Shittu Basiru described the assembly as unlawful.

In his phrases, “It was an unauthorized and unlawful assembly which I used to be not a part of,” he stated.
