Ex-Oyo governor, Ladoja loses special assistant on traditional matters, Ladoja



Lateef Ladoja, the Particular assistant on conventional issues to a former governor of Oyo State, Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja is lifeless.

DAILY POST learnt in regards to the demise of the deceased on Wednesday.

Ladoja who’s the present Osi Olubadan of Ibadanland was the Governor of Oyo State between 2003 and 2007.

Our correspondent gathered that the deceased died on the age of 73, within the early hours of Tuesday.

He reportedly died because of gunshot wounds he sustained throughout an unintended discharge.

The incident occurred after the set up of Gbadamosi Dauda Olaniyi as Mogaji Abidiodan, Itutaba, Oje, Ibadan.


It was gathered that the deceased has been buried consistent with Islamic rites.

Media aide to the previous governor, Mr. Lanre Latinwo, confirmed the demise of the deceased to DAILY POST on Wednesday.

Latinwo mentioned, “He has since been buried in accordance with Islamic rites.

“Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, Aje Ogungunniso 1, members of Olubadan-in- Council and another chiefs have despatched their condolences to Osi Olubadan and your entire Ladoja’s household on the demise of their liked one”.
