Emir of Bungudu still in bandits’ den despite paying N20m ransom one month ago




Alhaji Hassan Attahiru, Emir of Bungudu in Zamfara State kidnapped by bandits alongside Kaduna-Abuja freeway, remains to be along with his abductors after paying N20 million ransom a month in the past.

DAILY POST remembers that on September 4, 2021, the Emir was kidnapped when the bandits attacked his convoy on his method from Kaduna to Abuja.

Attahiru was mentioned to be on his strategy to Abuja to affix the Zamfara authorities’s delegation to the UN Basic Meeting in the US.
