Ekweremadu reveals how he was kidnapped and then released with N1500 gifted to him for transport

Former Deputy President of the Senate, Ike Ekweremadu, has recounted how he was kidnapped prior to now and miraculously freed .

The lawmaker whereas revealing how he was kidnapped, stated after liberating him, the abductors gave him N1500 to move himself again dwelling.

Talking throughout a thanksgiving service to mark his sixtieth birthday on the Cathedral Church of the Good Shepherd in Enugu on Thursday, Could 12, Ekweremadu stated he was kidnapped proper on the Enugu metropolis within the 12 months 2000 and was pushed to Anambra State. He additional said that regardless of all his ordeals, God’s faithfulness has saved him going .

 “God has by no means seemed again in issues regarding me. That’s the reason I cross by tribulations, I cross by water, and I cross by hearth, but none has been capable of eat me as a result of God is with me.

“So, this sixtieth anniversary is 60 years of thanksgiving. It’s about 60 years of grace and God’s favour”, Ekweremadu said.

“When His Lordship, the Bishop, spoke about a few of my travails, he didn’t keep in mind to say that I used to be kidnapped within the 12 months 2000 at Onu Asata in Enugu metropolis and was taken to Anambra State.

“I went to at least one bush with the abductors and handed the evening with them. The subsequent day, I used to be taken to Benue State from there. We later returned to Nsukka and simply by the only grace of God, they let me go and gave me N1,500 for my transport. Not many individuals could be that fortunate. So, I thanked God and belief him,” he stated.
