Eid-el-Kabir: Police deploy over 3,000 to Benin/Auchi road, mosques, others; warn fun-seekers




The Police in Edo State have suggested fun-seekers to be safety aware whereas celebrating this 12 months’s Eid-El-Kabir.

The state Commissioner of Police, Phillip Ogabdu, made this recognized in a press launch despatched to DAILY POST by the command spokesperson, SP Bello Kontongs in Benin Metropolis on Friday

He mentioned whereas the command is felicitating with all Muslim devoted within the state throughout this era of Eid-El-Kabir celebration.

“The Command has massively deployed 3,301 policemen to mosques, recreation centres, Benin/Auchi Highway and all strategic places throughout the state.

“The command can be deploying visitors personnel to make sure free circulate of visitors particularly in Benin Metropolis. The Command can even collaborate with different sister safety companies to make sure that the celebration is hitch-free.”
