Eid-El-Kabir: NSCDC deploys 620 personnel in Yobe




The Nigeria Safety and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC), Yobe State Command, disclosed that 620 personnel could be deployed to offer safety in the course of the upcoming Eid-El-Kabir Sallah celebrations throughout the state.


The Commandant of the Corps, Useni Navokhi, made the disclosure in an announcement signed by the Command’s Spokesperson, ASC Bala Garba, in Damaturu.

Navokhi famous that the NSCDC personnel could be deployed to all Eid praying grounds throughout the state previous to the Sallah day with a view to make sure sufficient safety and pre-empt any unwholesome actions that may come up.

In line with him Heads of Departments, Unit Heads, Space Commanders and 17 Divisional Officers have been directed to be proactive and safety acutely aware in discharging their duties earlier than, throughout and after the event.

The Commandant implored individuals within the state to present immediate and credible data of suspicious individuals and actions to the command, stressing that it might help to nip within the bud acts of criminality.

Whereas wishing all the Muslims peaceable celebrations, Navokhi reiterated the dedication of the Corps to collaborate with different safety companies to guard lives and property.
