On the event of this 12 months’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has enjoined Muslims, and certainly all Nigerians, to stay dedicated to God in prayers for the peace, unity, safety and progress of the nation.

In his Sallah Message, Gov. Ugwuanyi felicitated with all Muslim devoted, wishing them the blessings and steering of Allah.

The governor urged Nigerians to embrace the cherished virtues of affection, peace, charity and sacrifice as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Mohammed.

He pressured that the importance of the Islamic celebration has an enormous optimistic influence in enhancing the peace, unity and progress of Nigeria in addition to the nation’s efforts in surmounting its safety, socio-economic and public well being challenges.

Gov. Ugwuanyi who known as for a safe, peaceable and wholesome celebration, suggested Nigerians to remain secure and cling strictly to all precautionary measures put in place to include the unfold of the COVID-19 pandemic.
