Eid-el-Kabir: Buhari gives 2 cows, 20 bags of rice, N1m to NYSC members

President Muhammadu Buhari, Tuesday, in Daura, Katsina State, gave two cows from his farm, 20 luggage of rice and N1, 000,000 (a million naira) to members of the Nationwide Youth Service Corp, NYSC that visited him.

Buhari stated that the scheme has a deep influence on Nigerians, including that it broadens the horizon of residents, opens up alternatives and enhances understanding of cultural variations.

Buhari spoke at his nation residence when he recovered the NYSC members serving in Daura, who paid homage to mark the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

The President advised the corps members that he had persistently recommended Common Yakubu Gowon rtd, for creating the scheme.

“Everytime I meet with former Head of State, Gen. Yakubu Gowon, like just lately, I nonetheless commend him for the initiative of the NYSC. The NYSC is spectacular in some ways.
