The Financial and Monetary Crimes Fee (EFCC) has knowledgeable Nigerians that Peter Akpanke is not its employees.
EFCC Head of Media, Wilson Uwujaren, in an announcement mentioned Akpanke has no authority to signify or perform any enterprise within the title of the fee.
Uwujaren famous that the disclaimer turned mandatory following reviews that Akpanke, who was dismissed from the company, had been parading himself as a bona fide operative.
The spokesman mentioned the previous worker was “utilizing false identification to harass and extort unsuspecting members of the general public particularly in Akwa Ibom and Cross River States”.
The fee suggested members of the general public to desist from relating with Akpanke or in accordance him any privilege as a result of an officer of the legislation.
The assertion urged them to report any additional solicitations from Akpanke to the closest EFCC workplace or police station.
