EFCC arrests son, father for alleged internet fraud




The Financial and Monetary Crimes Fee (EFCC) is grilling a father, Isa Bola Bakare, and his son, Malik Giles Bakare over alleged conspiracy on computer-related fraud.


They have been apprehended for allegedly acquiring cash by false pretence and retention of proceeds of illegal actions.

Malik was arrested by officers of the Nigeria Police, Pressure CID, Alagbon in Lagos on Could 31, 2021, and handed over to the EFCC.

In a press release on Wednesday, EFCC spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren mentioned Malik acted as a “intermediary”.
