EFCC arraigns Cecilia Osipitan for N6bn PHCN insurance benefit fraud



The Financial and Monetary Crimes Fee (EFCC) has arraigned the Managing Director of PJO Ventures Restricted, Cecilia Osipitan.

She is being tried together with PJO and Insurance coverage Resourcery and Consultancy Companies Restricted earlier than Justice U. P. Kekemeke of the Federal Capital Territory Excessive Court docket in Maitama, Abuja.

Osipitan faces a nine-count cost bordering legal breach of belief, conspiracy and conversion of public funds to the tune of N6billion.

The defendant pleaded not responsible when the fees have been learn.

Justice Kekemeke granted her bail within the sum of N500million with two sureties in like sum.

Kekemeke adjourned till January 20, 2022 for graduation of trial.
