Police in Cross River State has mentioned it has come to its information that some cult teams together with Agaba, Nnabor and others are planning to foment bother below the guise of Easter celebration and procession

The intelligence, DAILY POST gathered is a procession, deliberate to disturb the peace of the land and probably inflict damage on perceived rivalry teams, retaliate and destroy properties.

In a press launch issued on Friday by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) DSP Irene Ugbo and made obtainable by the Deputy PPRO, warned that ban on procession remains to be implement

“It has come to the information of the Cross River State Police Command that some individuals or group of individuals below the aegis of secret confraternity/cult teams whose intention is to disturb the peace of the land, molest, steal even maim unsuspected members of the general public intend to go on procession below the protection of easter celebration

“It’s to be famous for the avoidance of doubt that the ban has not been lifted as such violators of this order can be decisively handled” the Police acknowledged
