Delta police arrest three notorious armed robbers after victim spotted gang member in Bayelsa

Operatives of the Delta State Police Command have arrested three infamous armed robbers and recovered one lower to measurement gun.

 

Spokesperson of the command, DSP Brilliant Edafe, who disclosed this in an announcement on Wednesday, January 26, stated the suspects allegedly shot a 33-year-old man and made away together with his motorbike in Isoko Native Authorities Space of the state.

 

Based on him, the suspects had been arrested in Bayelsa State after the sufferer noticed a member of the gang round Sagbama space of the state.  

 

“Within the 12 months 2021, March fifth to be exact, a case of armed theft was reported at Oleh Division that one man (title withheld) age 33years was shot and his Qlink Bike was snatched from him by suspected armed robbers between Olomoro and Ehwne Communities in Isoko South LGA,” the assertion learn. 

 

Investigation was then initiated and the sufferer was taken to Olomro Common Hospital the place he was handled and discharged.

 

Unluckily for them, on 23/01/2022 the sufferer noticed one of many hoodlums round Sagbama, Bayelsa State and he instantly alerted the Command.

 

The Commissioner of Police Delta State, CP Ari Muhammed Ali FCIA, directed that operatives from Oleh Division proceed to Bayelsa State for a discreet investigation with a view to arresting the suspects.

 

Upon an intelligence led investigation, one George Akporie ‘m’ age 25yrs, Prosper Asaeta ‘m’ age 29yrs and Eziekel Stephen ‘m’ age 23yrs all of Igbide Neighborhood, Oleh had been arrested at Sagbama in Bayelsa State.

 

One domestically made gun was recovered from the suspects and they are going to be charged to courtroom upon completion of investigation.
