COVID-19: University of Ibadan denies death of staff, students




The College of Ibadan (UI) says experiences that some employees and college students of the establishment died of COVID-19 issues are inaccurate.

Olatunji Oladejo, the Director of Public Communications, made the clarification in an interview with the Information Company of Nigeria (NAN).

Oladejo stated the performing Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Adebola Ekanola, at a zoom session, solely stated UI may document deaths if precautions weren’t taken towards the Delta variant.
