Court Remands Woman In Prison For Biting Neighbour’s Scrotum In Osun




An Ile-Ife Magistrates’ Court docket in Osun State has ordered {that a} girl, Nifemi Ajayi, who allegedly bit her neighbour on the scrotum, be remanded. 

The police had charged Ajayi with assault, NAN reviews.

The prosecution counsel, Sunday Osanyintuyi, instructed the court docket that the defendant dedicated the offence on August 24, round 8:00 p.m. at No 21, Oke-Soda, Ile-Ife.

In accordance with him, the defendant bit the sufferer, Olayera Boluwaji on his scrotum and his abdomen.

He added that the offence contravened the provisions of Part 355 of the Felony Code, Legal guidelines of Osun, 2002.

The defendant, nevertheless, pleaded not responsible.

The defence counsel, Philip Fasanmoye, made an oral bail software. He prayed the court docket to confess his consumer in probably the most liberal phrases.

Justice of the Peace Olusola Aluko ordered the defence counsel to file a written software for bail whereas ordering that Ajayi be remanded in Ilesa correctional centre.

The Justice of the Peace adjourned the matter till November 15, for bail consideration.
