Mr Godwin Emefiele, the CBN Governor, disclosed this in Abuja on Friday on the Nationwide Dialogue on Nigeria’s rising debt profile, titled: “The Rising Public Debt in Nigeria and the Challenges of Nationwide Improvement,” organised by the Motion Help Nigeria (AAN).

Emefiele, who was represented by Dr Tawose Joseph, the Assistant Director, Financial Coverage Division, CBN, stated there isn’t any crime in borrowing.

In line with him, there needs to be monitoring and analysis of the cash borrowed and its function.
