Cakes Made With Marijuana Found In Plateau Eateries




Operatives of the Nationwide Drug Legislation Enforcement Company have raided some eateries in Jos, Plateau State and recovered freshly baked muffins made with Hashish Sativa.


In an announcement on Monday, the company’s Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, stated further 48.726 kg of various psychotropic substances have been recovered, NAN reviews.

He added that among the drug joints raided included KNL Lounge positioned alongside Lamingo Highway and one other department alongside Mining Quarters, Rantya Low-Value property, in addition to Tuscany Lounge on Azaki Ave, all inside Jos metropolis.

He stated 14kg of Barcadin Codeine; Flunitrazapem, 355.5g; Tramadol, 370.1g; Exol-5, 30kg; Diazepam, 2.5kg and Pentazocine, 1.5kg, totalling 48.726kg have been seized.

Babafemi quoted the Plateau Commander, Ibrahim Braji, as saying that 5 individuals have been arrested in connection to the seized medicine.

Babafemi stated the Enugu state command of the company on the weekend equally raided the Nsukka axis of the state.

He stated a 28-year-old woman, Oodo Ndidiamaka, was arrested with 80.23g of cocaine and three.81g of methamphetamine.

Babafemi quoted the Enugu state Commander of NDLEA, Abdul Abdullahi, as saying that the Command remained dedicated to unravelling different members of the drug cartel within the state.

In the meantime, operatives of the Niger State Command of the Company additionally arrested a 24-year-old 400-level scholar of the Federal College of Expertise, Minna, Abel Godwin Idio.
