Building collapse: Bishop Ibiyeomie visits victims in hospital as church confirms incident [PHOTOS]

Following the collapse of a constructing housing a department of Salvation Ministry at Okpanam, Asaba, Delta State, the place many worshippers have been reportedly trapped, Bishop Ibiyeomie, founding father of the ministry, has paid visits to hospitalised victims.

DAILY POST recollects that the constructing, which was rented by the church for worship functions, collapsed throughout service on Tuesday.

Confirming the incident, the church, in a press release issued and made public on Wednesday, sympathized with the victims, saying an investigation is ongoing.

The assertion reads, “Salvation Ministry is conscious of the incident that occurred on the eleventh of January 2022 at Okpanam, Delta State, Nigeria, in a one-storey constructing, which the church occupies the primary ground as a tenant with different tenants occupying the bottom ground.

“The church is presently working with related authorities in investigating the reason for the incident.

“Our quick prayers and ideas are with the individuals and households affected by the incident, and the church is dedicated to offering all needed helps whereas an investigation is ongoing”.
