President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to the Boko Haram terrorists’ assault on Kwapre neighborhood within the Hong Native Authorities Space of Adamawa State.
The Boko Haram insurgents had on Friday, attacked the Adamawa neighborhood, killing and destroying property.
Buhari, who was represented by the Secretary to the Authorities of the Federation, Mr Boss Mustapha, throughout his go to to the neighborhood on Sunday, expressed his deepest sympathy.
The President supplied his condolences to these affected locally by the assault.
“I’m in Kwapre to see issues beneath the directive of President Muhammadu Buhari and to sympathise and condole with the neighborhood. I’ve seen the extent of destruction which is tragic of monumental dimension. I’m deeply saddened by what I noticed and subsequently assuring the neighborhood that the federal government will do all that’s doable to guard the lives and property of the residents,” he mentioned.
In keeping with the President, over 78 homes, 12 retailers, colleges and 4 worship centres had been destroyed through the terrorists’ assault.
