As Nigeria proceed to face the inflow of small arms and light-weight weapons, President Muhammadu Buhari has written the Senate to legislate on “The Management of Small Arms and Mild Weapons invoice, 2021.”

A replica of the letter sighted by DAILY POST on Tuesday indicated that the invoice, when handed into regulation would transmit the present Presidential Committee right into a Nationwide Centre for the Management of Small Arms and Mild Weapons to be domesticated within the Workplace of the Nationwide Adviser.

Citing provisions of the Structure Buhari stated: “Pursuant to Part 58(2) of the 1999 Structure of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended), I ahead herewith, the Management of Small Arms and Mild Weapons Invoice 2021 for the type consideration by the Senate.
