BREAKING: Tension in Abuja as Okada riders protest killing of colleagues




The Police Command in Kano State has arrested two suspects over the homicide of a 300 degree scholar of the Kano College of Science and Know-how (KUST), Wudil, Ahmad Abubakar Idris.


The Spokesperson of the State Police Command, Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, who confirmed the incident to newsmen, stated the deceased was discovered useless 5 days after he was reported lacking.

He stated the commissioner of police within the state, CP Sama’ila Dikko, had ordered the case to be transferred to the Legal Investigation Division, Bompai for additional investigation.

“ Abubakar’s father, Mr Idris had despatched him some cash to buy a cell phone for his brother.

“The deceased was suspected to have been killed by the culprits due to the cash in his possession.

“His corpse was found at a sand excavation website in Mariri on the outskirts of Kano after police arrested one of many colleagues who was with him earlier than he went lacking.

“We’re at present finishing up an investigation into the matter and justice shall be served,” he stated.
