The Kaduna State College (KASU) on Tuesday suspended educational actions of its undergraduate college students indefinitely.
KASU Registrar, Mr Samuel Manshop, disclosed this in a press release in Kaduna.
Manshop, who didn’t give causes for the suspension, nonetheless, mentioned educational actions would proceed for postgraduate programmes, faculty of drugs, pharmaceutical sciences and part-time programmes, NAN reviews.
“The administration of KASU needs to inform employees, college students and the general public that educational actions for undergraduate college students have been suspended indefinitely.
“Postgraduate programmes, faculty of drugs, college of pharmaceutical sciences and part-time programmes are to proceed with their actions.
“Employees can also be anticipated to report back to work as traditional, whereas administration will talk additional developments,” he mentioned.
DAILY POST recollects that undergraduate college students had protested the hike in class charges from between N24,0000 and N36,000 to between N100,000 and N400,000.
The scholars, who started the protest for the reason that increment was introduced in April, demanded the reversal of the brand new college charges.
