Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom right now instituted a N60 billion swimsuit towards Minister of Particular Duties and Inter Governmental Affairs, Senator George Akume on the Makurdi Excessive Courtroom.
The swimsuit No. MHC/268/2021 was filed by Okon N. Efut, SAN and 4 different legal professionals.
Governor Ortom is searching for N50 billion as normal damages for libel and N10 billion as exemplary and aggravated damages.
The writ of summons was backed by a 17 paragraph assertion of declare.
