Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, has stated aggrieved politicians sponsored the assaults on police headquarters and correctional centre in Owerri, the state capital, on Monday.
Uzodinma spoke on Wednesday throughout a programme on Channels Tv, monitored by SaharaReporters.
A correctional centre and a police command have been attacked by gunmen, who made use of explosives and in addition burnt many autos.
