Boko Haram abducts two sisters in Borno

Boko Haram insurgents have kidnapped two sisters, aged 26 and 30, in Mairari village, Konduga Native Authorities Space of Borno State. 

 

Borno Commissioner of Police, Abdu Umar, who made this recognized in an interview with the Information Company of Nigeria (NAN) in Maiduguri on Tuesday June 14, stated the incident occurred on June 7, 2022. 

 

“At about 7.30, one Ari Mustapha of Mairari village in Konduga, reported that some gun males suspected to be Boko Haram insurgents invaded his dwelling and kidnapped his two daughters,” he said. 

 

“He additionally stated that the insurgents stole two bulls and different belongings earlier than fleeing away,” the CP stated. 

 

The police boss stated that on receiving the knowledge, a crack-team was deployed on a search and rescue across the atmosphere however to no avail. 

 

Umar stated that the command would intensify the search till the victims are rescued and reunited with their households.
