The Federal Authorities has made an attraction to truck drivers following the continued development work on Bida-Lambata highway.
The Everlasting Secretary, Federal Ministry of Works and Housing, Mr Babangida Hussaini made the attraction whereas reacting to the blockade of the Bida-Mokwa, Bida -Lambata and Suleja – Minna roads by some truck drivers in Niger State.
The drivers have been protesting that authorities ought to expedite motion to finish the continued development to ease their difficulties in utilizing the roads.
Reacting, Hussaini in an announcement launched on Saturday, mentioned that the federal government was dedicated to delivering a high quality work.
”I’m interesting to the truck drivers for understanding of the efforts of the Federal authorities in fixing this highway.
“This Bida-Lambata highway is among the many many different ongoing initiatives throughout the nation which the federal government prioritised to ship,” Hussaini mentioned.
He lamented that the contractor had been denied entry to the highway attributable to blockade by the tanker drivers.
Hussaini additional assured that the contractors will ship a qualitative highway that might stand the check of time.
