Biafra: Despite Being In DSS Custody, See What Nnamdi Kanu Is Still Doing

Aloy Ejimakor, lawyer of Nnamdi Kanu, chief of the Indigenous Individuals of Biafra (IPOB), says the secessionist is preaching unity whereas within the custody of the Division of State Providers (DSS).

In June, Kanu was arrested and extradited to Nigeria to face trial for alleged treason.

TheCable had reported how Kanu was lured to an African nation with the promise of a donation, after which arrested.

The IPOB chief is dealing with prices bordering on treasonable felony over his marketing campaign for secession, and proposed institution of the Republic of Biafra.

Kanu had jumped bail in 2017 after a army motion, code-named “Operation Python Dance”, focused his household home in Abia state.

In a tweet on Sunday, Ejimakor stated he met with Kanu for 4 hours, including that the IPOB chief is cheerful within the DSS custody.

The lawyer stated throughout the assembly, Kanu spoke on the significance of unity and tolerance.

“UPDATE: At present, I met with Onyendu on the DSS. We spent practically 4 hours. My interplay with him was fulfilling,” the tweet reads.

“He’s cheery and appears ahead to overcoming this predicament prior to later. Once more, he pressured UNITY and tolerance on all sides. He has you all in his ideas.”

Abubakar Malami, attorney-general of the federation (AGF), had stated the IPOB chief was “intercepted via the collaborative efforts of Nigerian intelligence and safety companies”.

Binta Nyako, decide presiding over Kanu’s case, had ordered that he be remanded him in DSS’ custody, pending the continuation of his trial.

However in an utility filed via his crew of attorneys, Kanu alleged that he has been “subjected to psychological and psychological torture” by the DSS.

Kanu, due to this fact, requested the federal excessive courtroom in Abuja to switch him from the DSS custody to Kuje jail.
