Benue Gov Ortom opposes Nigeria’s breakup




Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has urged Nigerians to embrace unity regardless of the ethnic and non secular variations.


Ortom spoke on Tuesday in the course of the inauguration of the rehabilitated 7.9 kilometers Oha/Orerokpe/Oviore Street and the bridge in Okpe Native Authorities Space of Delta State.

The governor famous that injustice and bias had been liable for the agitations for secession by folks in many of the geo-political zones.

NAN experiences that the governor promised to proceed to evangelise unity of Nigeria. “We’re higher as a rustic”, he stated.

“Let there be justice for all regardless of our ethnic and religions; we must be united as a nation. God has been with Nigeria and can by no means abandon our nation.

“What is occurring in the present day, I consider when God arises, enemies of this nation will scatter and we will have our peace.”

Ortom recommended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for the infrastructural growth in Delta.
