Biafra Nations League, BNL, a secessionist group within the japanese area of the nation, has threatened to unleash mayhem on oil firms working in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital over Governor Nyesom Wike’s ban on Igbo assembly in Oyigbo Native Authorities Space of the State.

Governor Wike of Rivers State had positioned a ban on a deliberate assembly of some Igbo residents in Oyigbo LGA.

The Governor was mentioned to have taken the choice over fears that such conferences may spark recent unrest within the LGA.

However the BNL warned Wike to cease threatening Southeastern Igbos merely due to actions of Nnamdi Kanu’s led Indigenous individuals of Biafra, IPOB.

BNL issued the menace in an announcement collectively signed by its Deputy Nationwide Chief and Head of Operations, BBS Media, Ebuta Akor Takon and the Chief of Employees, Linus Essien.

The group mentioned that the current assaults in Imo State is nothing to match to those carried out by militants who usually are not Igbo in Rivers State some years in the past.

BNL accused Wike of being sentimental in opposition to the Igbo regardless of being an Igbo man.

“Treating the Igbo as terrorists may give rise to actual terrorism in Rivers State,” the group’s assertion mentioned.
