Atiku, Murray-Bruce react to murder of Sowore’s brother

Atiku Abubakar, a former Vice President, has condemned the homicide of Olajide Sowore, brother of activist Omoyele Sowore.

Recall that Sowore had on Saturday raised an alarm that his brother was killed by suspected herdsmen on his approach from Igbinedion College in Edo State the place he was learning Pharmacy.

Reacting, Atiku expressed his condolences and urged the federal government to arrest the perpetrators.

“I simply obtained information of the reported killing of Mr Olajide Sowore, a scholar of Igbinedion College and the rapid youthful brother of human rights activist, @YeleSowore. His demise, and certainly the killings and day by day abductions of harmless residents, saddens me.

“Each demise diminishes our humanity. My honest condolences to the Sowore household and his buddies. Could his soul relaxation in peace.”

Additionally, Ben Murray Bruce, a former Senator wrote on Twitter, “honest condolences to the Sowore household and family members over the demise of Mr Olajide Sowere, a scholar of pharmacy on the Igbinedion College, Edo State.

“I urge the federal government to spare no assets in bringing his killers to e-book. Could his soul relaxation in peace.”
