A serving member of the Nationwide Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Anambra State, Osasere Erhahon, has warned corps members in orientation camp towards killing pythons in Idemili North and Idemili South Native Authorities Areas of the state. 

The folks of Idemili regard the python as consultant of their deity, the custodian of customs and traditions. Individuals who kill pythons are at all times suggested to carry out befitting burial rites for the reptiles.

Osasere, who’s serving in Idemili LGA, gave the recommendation on Wednesday, June 22.
