“Any woman who attempts to procure abortion is guilty of a felony and is liable to imprisonment of seven years” Nigerian police warns
Any girl who makes an attempt to acquire abortion is responsible of a felony and will be jailed for as much as 7 years, police has warned.
Aliyu Giwa, former Deputy PRO of the Lagos State Police Command, made this identified on Twitter.
He stated that anybody who makes an attempt to trigger a lady to miscarry her child is liable to imprisonment for 14 years.
He then added that any girl who makes an attempt to acquire her personal abortion is responsible of a felony and liable to imprisonment for 7 years.
Additionally, anybody who provides medication or devices to acquire abortion is responsible of a felony and could possibly be imprisoned for 3 years.
