Anambra election will hold without Nnamdi Kanu – Asari Dokubo group counters IPOB



The de facto customary authorities of Biafra led by Asari Dokubo, former militant chief, has assured that the November 6 governorship election in Anambra State would maintain.

The Dokubo-led customary authorities mentioned the election would maintain even when Nnamdi Kanu, chief of the Indigenous Individuals of Biafra, IPOB, isn’t launched.

Uche Okafor-Mefor, the Head of Info and Communication of the group, cautioned IPOB towards denying individuals the appropriate to carry out their civic rights.

IPOB had declared a seven-day sit-at-home protest within the South-East ranging from November 5, if Kanu isn’t launched.

The sit-at-home is anticipated to start out on the eve of the Anambra State governorship election.
