Anambra election: We won’t engage you – INEC dares IPOB, ESN

Forward of the subsequent month’s governorship election in Anambra State, the Impartial Nationwide Electoral Fee, INEC, has vowed to not interact the Indigenous Individuals of Biafra, IPOB, and the Japanese Safety Community, ESN.

INEC’s spokesman, Festus Okoye, stated IPOB and ESN wouldn’t be engaged as a result of they’ve been proscribed by the Federal Authorities.

The governorship election in Anambra State is scheduled to carry on November 6, 2021.

“We recognise conventional establishments and the clergy, so if they’re a part of civil society teams and organisation they usually attend our packages we are going to inform them what we need to do in relation to Anambra elections.

“However when it comes to IPOB, the fee is not going to exit of its technique to go and interact with an organisation that the federal authorities has declared as unlawful. So we gained’t try this.”
