The Chief of Workers to the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr. Ephraim Inyangeyen has described as unusual the insinuations that Gov. Emmanuel Udom declared battle on him.
Inyangeyen in response to allegations of a rift between him and the governor maintained he had a cordial relationship along with his boss and puzzled why individuals would peddle such falsehood on the media.
A neighborhood tabloid had alleged that Inyangeyenwas combating with the governor for allegedly supporting a 2023 governorship aspirant, Senator Bassey Albert, the present senator representing Uyo Senatorial district which is in opposition to his boss’s will.
Inyangeyen pressured that he wouldn’t do something opposite to the curiosity of the governor.
The press assertion reads partially, ”For the information, I’ve a really cordial relationship with my Boss, Chief and Govt Governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency, Mr Udom Gabriel Emmanuel and it’s unusual to insinuate that he has declared battle on me.
”Governor Emmanuel is at present targeted on delivering good governance according to the implementation of his Completion Agenda and has severally posited that it’s too early to be distracted by the 2023 politicking.
”Certainly, His Excellency has not given a route on the course of succession politics in 2023 and I’m targeted on my duties as his Chief of Workers and haven’t declared assist for any aspirant whosoever for 2023.
”Governor Emmanuel has not stopped cost of any Honorarium on account of alleged dominance of these allegedly sympathetic to OBA as purported by the Newspaper which is understood for yellow journalism as everybody on the record are members of our crew that labored assiduously for the success of the Governor in 2019.
