Airtel’s mobile operating licence pending renewal – NCC




The Nigerian Communications Fee (NCC) stated its consideration has been drawn to a latest assertion on a web-based medium(not DAILY POST) and credited to the Managing Director/Chief Govt Officer of Airtel Nigeria, Mr. Olusegun Ogunsanya, to the impact that the cellular working licence of the telecommunication firm has been renewed by the Fee for one more interval of 10 years.

Mr. Ogunsanya was stated to have made the assertion whereas talking in Lagos on Wednesday, July 14, 202, in the course of the media launch of Airtel’s company social accountability programme, ‘Touching Lives 6’.

The NCC, in an announcement signed by Ikechukwu Adinde, Spokesman, stated it “needs to state that whereas Airtel Nigeria has utilized for the renewal of the Unified Entry Service (UASL) Licence granted to it by the Fee, the appliance is but to be authorised as it’s nonetheless present process the required regulatory course of.”
