ACF Kicks Against Payment Of Ransom To Bandits, Demands Negotiation




The Arewa Consultative Discussion board has acknowledged that it’s regrettable that hundreds of thousands of naira are paid to bandits for the not too long ago launched kidnapped college students of the Federal School of Forestry Mechanisation, Afaka, Kaduna State.


The ACF stated in a launch that it kicked towards the fee of ransoms to the bandits, saying the federal government should toe the road of negotiations.

The ACF Nationwide Publicity Secretary, Emmanuel Yawe, stated, “The Arewa Consultative Discussion board, ACF, needs to rejoice over the liberty re-gained by college students of the Federal School of Forestry Mechanisation in Kaduna. The scholars have been held hostage by bandits who stormed the varsity on March 11 and took 39 of them, demanding huge quantities of cash earlier than their launch.

“Ten of them had been launched prior to now. Final week we heard that the earlier batch of the hostages had been all launched. We thank God for saving their lives and rejoice with their households, each fast and distant.
