Abuja to experience water scarcity as Water Board announces shutdown

Administration of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Water Board has introduced that there shall be disruption in water provide to some areas in Abuja.

In keeping with an announcement launched by the board on Wednesday part 1,3, and 4 therapy crops shall be shut down for for 5 days.

It stated the shutdown is to allow the connection of a bye go trunk line to Kubwa essential line for the rehabilitation of the handled water tank.

The board stated the upkeep work is scheduled to happen in two phases. Section one is Monday, 18th to Tuesday 19 October and part 2 is Friday, twenty second to Sunday twenty fourth October, 2021.

“Consequently, there shall be disruption of water provide to residents of Maitama, Asokoro , Garki 1, Garki 2 , Karu/Nyanya , Kubwa 1 and Kubwa, Wuse 1 and Wuse, Barracks and Central Space.”

The board, subsequently, suggested residents of the listed areas to retailer water for his or her day by day use throughout this era.
