The Commissioner for Girls Affairs and Poverty Alleviation (WAPA), Cecilia Bolaji Dada, acknowledged this on Tuesday at a ministerial information convention to mark the second 12 months of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in workplace, held in Ikeja, Lagos.



The commissioner stated, in 2020, a complete of 46 males reported on the ministry that their wives violated them.

She added that within the first quarter of 2021, a complete of 43 males reported battering by their wives, making it a complete of 89 in lower than two years.
