22 years of democracy is worth celebrating – Gov Fintiri




Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has praised the braveness and want of the Nigerian citizenry to permit democracy thrive after 20 years of it.


The governor, in an announcement to newsmen by his Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, stated that 22 years of uninterrupted democracy is certainly one thing to thank God for.

He burdened that democracy is on the coronary heart of addressing the defining challenges of the instances with rising regional agitations, insecurity, poverty and the COVID-19 pandemic.

“At the moment, we rejoice the return to civil rule, the restoration of our dignity and the democratic resilience we have now constructed during the last 20 years,” Fintiri said.

He recommended the Adamawa citizens for trusting him with their mandate and guaranteed them of his greatest to not allow them to down.

He stated, “Our want to strengthen democracy and provides it its true that means knowledgeable the funding we’re making within the social reengineering of the state by way of the availability of infrastructure and human capital improvement.

“The tasks unfold throughout the state represents the worth and that means of Democracy Day.”
