19-year-old arrested for allegedly killing his co-worker at a construction site in Enugu
The police in Enugu state have arrested 19-year-old Onyemaechi Okorie, an indigene of Uburu in Ohaozara LGA of Ebonyi State, over the homicide of his male co-worker at a building web site at Independence Structure Enugu on April 27.
A press release launched by ASP Daniel Ndukwu, spokesperson of the state police command, stated the suspect was arrested after the police acquired a report of the incident.
Ndukwe stated police operatives of the command serving in New Haven Police Division, swung into motion and arrested the suspect on the identical date.
He stated preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect engaged the deceased in a critical battle and used a rod to hit him on the top.
